Exercise Before Sex
Should you work out before sex? Increasing our blood flow with physical activity isn’t only good for the heart and muscles — it’s also good for sexual function and pleasure. One of the best things we can do to speed up arousal and orgasm is to exercise for half an hour before sex. You don’t have to go all-out at the gym or on the trail — just increase your level of activity enough to raise your heart rate so that your breathing is faster, but you’re not out of breath. (You can talk, but maybe not sing!) If you’re partnered, walking or dancing together can be a joyful prelude to sex.
